The Michigan Association of REALTORS® is deeply moved by the tragic passing of Walter Harris, a member from the Grosse Pointe area. Members from around the state are keeping Walter, his wife and six children in their thoughts as they remember his dedication to serving his community as a Detroit firefighter and minister as well as a real estate agent with Legacy Residential & Commercial Group.

Congratulations on surviving this year’s election! The path after the November 4th election is paved with victories and disappointments. With all 110 House seats up for grabs on the state level, paired all 15 U.S. Congressional seats, 1 U.S. Senate seat, and a Supreme Court Justice spot, November’s ballot served up one of the most memorable (and expensive) election cycles in Michigan’s history.
